Santa Club

Today Harrison finishes school until 4th September, we have alot planned for him including a tennis camp, sleepovers and training with the Harlequins Rugby Team.

Since my last post, i have moved house and i thought you would like to see my new craft room (this was taken, after we had first moved in, so a bit messy) :

Today is the start of Maureen's Rudolph Day's Challenge, where you have to make a Christmas card from today until the 31st and it's a great way to get ahead.

The image is Penny Black - 'Santa Club / 1230K / 1998' and it's been coloured in with Copics, the papers are : Bo Bunny - 'Silver And Gold Collection', the sentiment is : LOTV, the brad was originally silver and i covered it in gold embossing powder and heat it.

Thanks for looking and for any comments, would be most appreciated, Luv Sam x

Having meet up with the lovely Lisa on Filey beach, during a recent trip to North Yorkshire, she persuaded me, i should post on here.

I put this car on my Facebook page last week, so some of you may have seen it already, as i made it for Harrison to give Alan :

Coloured with Copics and these are the ones i used :

Christmas Dreams

Firstly, thank you for all your wonderful comments of support -  after careful consideration, i have decided not to shut down my blog, but i am only going to post on here any cards i've made for Challenges, where i have been asked to be on the Design Team, otherwise you can view any future cards here :

Today's card has been made for the lovely Maureen's Challenge : Rudolph Day's Challenge

Last month I went on a Copic colouring class with the super talented Faye Wynn Jones, bless her she is a saint and so patient too, this is the first ever image i have coloured with copics, on my own (not in a class).

The image is : Penny Black - 'Christmas Dreams / 1509F', have a touch of wink of stella on the holly berries
The papers are : LOTV - 'Classic Christmas'
The frame is : Sweet Dixie - 'Festive Floral Frames'
The ribbon is from the 'The Works' and has sparkle running through it
Shimmer Dome Stickers - Docrafts / Papermania

Don't forget to have fun and join in with Maureen's fabby Challenge, i mean we all need Xmas cards, so why not start early,

Luv Sam x

Shutting Down This Blog

Can someone tell me how to shut down this blog please, as i'm so upset and devastated at the moment, that i don't want to continue card making - it was something i enjoyed doing and kept me going especially with my Rheumatoid Arthritis,

Thanks for all your help and support, Luv Sam x

Bunches Of Wishes

Well last Saturday, when i had my Open House, the house could not have looked any better, shame then the only people the estate agent sent round, had not even got their houses on the market yet :-(. Last Saturday I also went to 'Strictly Come Dancing Live' at the 02, had a lovely time - shame though that the 02 want to be money grabbers and made us give up all of our water bottles and sweets before we entered the venue !!

Today is mid point for Penny Black And More  and this month's Challenge is:  'Use Your Favourite Stamp' and as usual we have some fabby sponsors too :

Penny Black

Crafts U Love

Stamp Addicts

And one lucky person using a Penny Black image will be picked to be Guest Designer for next month, so pop over to Penny Black And More and check out the other amazing inspiration the very talented team have come up with and join in the fun - but please do remember, you can use any image you like, except Digi's.

Today's card was actually made for Wendy Kadizo's mum who was 90 in January, Wendy asked if anybody would send her a card, as normally she would only get 5 and it gave me a good excuse to use this adorable stamp : Penny Black - 'Bunches Of Wishes / 0343J / 1997' (i must confess it took me a while to find the number for this stamp, as it's been discontinued !!), stamped on : Die-namics - 'Stitched Circle Stax' and edged with : Distress Ink - 'Picked Raspberry', the flower die : Penny Black - 'Flower Pop Outs / 51-230 / 2016' (i cut it a 3 times with scrap paper and i coloured the leaves in), the ribbon is : Doodlebug - 'Boutique Trims / Bubblegum Assortment', the papers are : LOTV - 'Country Meadow', the sentiment is : Paula Pascal - 'All Year Round', the pears are : Love To Craft - 'A Beautiful Life'

The Challenges I Would Like To Enter Are :

Penny Black Saturday  - where the Challenge is 'Try Something New' - mine is the Penny Black - Flower Pop Out Die

Naughty Or Nice -where Challenge No: 36 is 'Colour Inspiration (which is what i went for) or LOVE'

As You Like It  - where the Challenge is 'Do You Prefer Ribbon Or Lace' - i so love both, but 9 times out of 10, i pick ribbon, probably i have so much of it, so there is a better chance i have a colour to match the card i'm making ;-) x

Sweet Stampin' - where the Challenge is 'Flowers'

Simon Say's Stamp - where the Challenge is 'Fantastic Florals'

Allsorts  - where Challenge No : 403 is 'Anything Goes'

Thanks for looking and for any comments you would like to leave, would be most appreciated, luv Sam x
