Spring Air

Hi,

This week i've had an incredible low and an incredible high - firstly the nice bit, while having a nose round ebay for some old PB's i found a seller, with some Buy It Now and at reasonable prices with free P+P, so i bought a couple and then to my surprise the person lives a 10 min walk away from me, and say's he has 2,500 and i can go round whenever to have a nose - gee i'll be in PB heaven.
Now the horrible bit - one of my neighbours last Friday evening decided to have a party, that eventually got shut down by the police at 3.40am (i wouldn't mind, but we live in a village and not a city) and Alan and I had to also deal with a screaming 7 year old with a raging temperature (after he had been sent home from school on Thursday), so we ended up with about 2 hours sleep, so i've had a week of e-mailing local councillors and Environmental Health along with several other neighbours, so that it never happens again.

Today's stamp is Penny Black - 'Spring Air / 3346F', it's such a cutie and i've paper pieced the welly boot (to make them look trendy) and the flower, the papers are : LOTV - 'Perfect Pairs', the daisy lace and ribbon is from : The Ribbon Girls and the pearl flowers are : 'Mei Flowers'.

Today's Challenges I Would Like To Enter Are :

Crafty Little Fairies - where the Challenge is : 'Song Title or Film' - i've gone for Billy Connolly - 'The Welly Boot Song'

Penny Black Saturday Friends - where this month's Challenge is : 'Lace And Pearls'

Die Cutting Divas - where Challenge No: 155 is a Sketch - that is super, and will use it again as i love making circle cards

Oldie But A Goodie - where the Challenge is 'Spring Has Sprung' - my oldies are the stamp from 2005 and the Meiflower pearl flowers

Bearly Mine  - where March's Challenge is : 'One For The Girls'

A Creative Romance - where the Challenge is : 'Jenny's Bingo' - i've gone for Pink, Lace And Ribbon

Thanks for looking and for any comments you would kindly like to leave, would be most appreciated, Luv  Sam x

Lovely card Sam. I am so jealous of all the PB stamps! Hope your little one is better now. We had neighbours like that at one time, they used to come home either arguing, or playing loud music. Had the the police and authorities involved for ages. It was a great day when they put the house up for sale, and moved on. We have had lovely neighbours now for about 8 years. Amazing what difference it can make. Sue x

Gorgeous card Sam, it's so cute! We had neighbours backing onto our garden who had constant parties, and a garden full of dogs and exotic (and very noisy!) birds... luckily they've now moved and it's lovely and quiet! Thanks for joining in at CLF hun :o) Hugs, Lisa x
